Lisa has been creating stories since she was six, when her teacher kindly typed them up and stapled them into ‘books’ that she’d proudly illustrate and share with her (very impressed) family.

By Year 6, things got weird. Chosen to represent her school in a writing workshop, Lisa wrote a story about a pineapple being eaten, pooped out, and finding its way back to a tropical island. The story was read at assembly and left everyone in stitches.

Now a Senior Creative Copywriter with 20 years of experience in advertising, Lisa has won awards, some laughs, and the occasional high five from her mum. 

She writes children’s stories inspired by her childhood, her son, and life’s big emotions. Her mission? To entertain kids with silliness, heart, and the occasional rogue pineapple.

Armed with a communications degree, a writing picture books course, and her playful imagination, Lisa is on a mission to bring more laughter, love, and joy to kids everywhere.
